After getting a sneak peek at my items a few weeks before the bag came I was STOKED! The selection from this months bag is great! It feels like after repeating numerous times about how sick of eyeliner I was, Ipsy finally listened and started to provide the good stuff! I tweaked my preferences a little bit so that I could branch out from my usual colors/products and was pleasantly surprised at what I received!
My hot pink package came loaded with goodies all packed away in my gorgeous "Peace Love Lipstick" Ipsy bag with a gold tassel. Inside, I had a Strictly Curls cream which I had actually tried before. My experience with the cream was not so great. It was very goopy and left behind a lot of residue. Granted, the last time I used it was over five years ago and I was in the experimental stage of messing with my natural hair, so now might be different...hopefully. Next, I got a Make Up Forever "Excessive Lash Mascara" which I will promptly be using instead of my worn out Maybelline tube.THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING MY PRAYERS IPSY GODS!! I received a Glamour Dolls blending brush, which I will have to watch a couple of Youtube videos to learn how to use honestly (Still in the process of finding my niche as far as makeup application). I next got a cute little Balm Voyage 'Willkommen" eyeshadow sample, It looks dangerously close to my skin tone, so I might have to blend it with something else, preferably a color from my Too Faced palette. I'm really digging the vintage travel theme this brand has! I'd love to collect all of these little books! Finally, I got my Sundays "no. 28" nail polish, which I was most excited about! It is a very muted tone which I love and can't wait to wear as the cooler sweater seasons begin to approach! Stay Tuned for my Final Thoughts on this months bag!
