I've recently gotten into online shopping , and some may say: "uh you came to the game late..." but I have my reasons. First off, unless it's Ebay, I really don't trust no name websites to handle my credit card information. Second, why wait for a shirt when I can just go to the mall and buy it? But I digress. With the combination of Pinterest browsing and a well earned paycheck, I decided to try my luck online and buy something outright. The verdict is...I hate it. Being the anxious person I am, I find myself constantly checking the status of my item being shipped, and it doesn't help that it is being sent from overseas. Where did I order this lovely shift from and why is it being shipped from overseas? I recently have found an app called "Wish", basically it's a chinatown flea market on your smartphone. I was VERY excited at first, skimming through the popular outfits and jewelry, over time finding myself skeptical. Nearly everything was under $100, and the reviews for most things were atrocious. The complaints for the poorly made items ranged from "tarnished upon opening" to "a large barely fit my 6 year old". Of course this made me nervous, especially since the return policy on these individual shops aren't clearly stated. I was going to give up on the app until I saw this gorgeous shift. As I had stated in my previous post, I'm really into bright colors and patterns this summer so this was an obvious must-have for me. I threw caution to the wind (considering that there were NO reviews for this piece) and purchased this. I probably made a bad decision due to the fact that I'm leaving next week and it might not arrive on time...but I had to take that risk in the name of fashion. According to my confirmation email, it was sent yesterday, so fingers crossed I will receive it in time! Otherwise, I can't really judge this site until I actually have the shift, but until then wish me luck!
